Accommodation
There is one group of holiday cottages in Guajar Alto which share a swimming pool. In addition there are a few village houses to rent and apartments in a new building in the centre of the village. Hostal accommodation, with breakfast included and main meals provided as an option, is available in one of the bar/restaurants. We now have two houses in the village and one country house with private pools available for holiday rental.

Horse Riding
There is no horse riding available in Los Guajares at the moment but Jean Pierre the baker has some stables near Guajar Fondon and will be offering riding excursions in 2009.

Painting
The artist Margaret Merry lives in Guajar Alto. She specialises in pastel and watercolour paintings and can give tuition to small groups who would like to do some painting during their holiday. See Margaret Merry Paintings and Fine Art

Walking
There are no organised walking holidays holidays in Guajar Alto but there are numerous walking routes through the stunning mountain scenery. These range from casual rambles through the country lanes linking the farms around the village to serious day long trecks through the mountains.
